Update from Haiti

Daniel's mother who gets $100 each month came two days ago to get this months money. I missed her when she came last month. I gave her the money and she started to cry again. Daniel's death has been very hard on her. She is so thankful. It is basically the difference between starving and staying alive getting the money each month. For her and two other children she is watching after.

Here are some pictures of a small church group south of PAP that I used money to help. Pastor Ricot is the assistant pastor of Enoch Lenny. Enoch was killed in the quake. We sent food supplies up to his church and money for 21 specific widows and elderly people. Total was about $1000 to this group. I gave him my old digital camera to take pictures. Attached are some of handing out the food. It was during the fuel shortage so I had to pay premium for a vehicle to haul the food up. I know the people looked pretty well dressed but I have been there and they are pretty poor. I am always amazed how these guys that are dirt poor and live in a mud house come out better dressed than me for church.
