Community Health Center of Papoli, Phase III

The great need for a small inpatient hospital to serve the people of this area was recognized by VPI.

Nearly 60,000 people in Papoli and the surrounding area have no close facility to go to when they are ill.

To fill this need, Phase III of the Community Health Center of Papoli will be constructed.

This will be a small inpatient hospital to care for those who have the less complex illness requiring hospitalization, with a referral network established for more complex diseases. Included will be a maternity wing, pediatric wings (male and female), two delivery rooms, a laboratory, x-ray facilities, orthopedics, and housing for the medical staff.

The Inpatient Hospital is Phase III of the Community Health Center of Papoli and development will begin after the completion of Phase II (Outpatient Medical Center).
