You may have heard/read that terrorist attacked Kampala last Sunday, threw a bomb that killed well over 70 people! So sad indeed. Our family and village members fortunately were not near the two sites, but this is a terrible thing to be done by mankind to others, we leave all in the hands of God.

Lot of progress is going on in Papoli, I am so happy with the team that we put in place at the safe house and also other PACODEF staff. The day care/ safe house facility has meant a lot to our village and other nearby villages; terribly emaciated sick kids are brought daily from distance as far as 6 miles for nutrition and medical attention. We have average of 120 kids per day! yet we planned for 35, but we are re-engineering the way we work and soon will stat a programme-“Home based care service” where we will train the caretakers/givers and on weekly basis give them requirement for the kids and our community social workers will make periodic visits to back stop them, in my view, using this approach, we will be able to take care of more kids at cheaper costs.
