VPI gives thanks for the work of the Medical Mission Team that spent last week in Mombin Crochu, Haiti. We also give thanks to the people of Mombin Crochu, who worked with the team to accomplish so much, each contributing to the other as brothers and sisters on this earth.
In just one week, 300 dental and 41 surgical procedures were done, 142 patients were treated in the medical clinics, 262 glasses were distributed, interactive and didactic classes were given, sermons were preached and shared, schools were visited, meetings with pastors and priests occurred, nurses and doctors were taught, future programs were discussed, the Mobile Clinic was staffed and sent out for a day, knowledge was shared, and much was learned.
God continues to call us to this community, to share the gifts we have been given, and in so doing we are given much more. Thank you to those whose support and backing allow this work of partnering together to continue, for your gifts produce the fruit of God’s work. Sylvia Campbell, MD
